You may notice on some posts that comments are turned on and not on others. Usually this has to do with the age of the post.

We had a rash of spam comments, very similar to the spam you might get through e-mail. We turned off comments for awhile but I'm trying it again to see if that was a random occurrence not to be repeated often or if we're just in a lull.
